At the Eye to Eye Clinic, doctors and staff know that your eye health directly affects your quality of life. We are committed to providing personalized care and teaching patients how to care for their eyes in order to enjoy a lifetime of excellent vision.
Dr. Erin Anderson Dalton
Dr. Dalton is originally from Rhode Island and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York, College of Optometry in 2005. Dr. Dalton then moved to New Haven, Connecticut, where she completed a residency program in Primary Care Optometry and Low Vision Optometry. She spent the next few years treating patients in a bustling group practice in the New Haven area and also worked as a Clinical Instructor for Yale University. Dr. Dalton relocated to Oregon in the fall of 2010.
Dr. Dalton enjoys working with patients of all ages. Her attentive and friendly manner puts people at ease. Patients appreciate her attention to detail and her lively personality. In her spare time, Dr. Dalton enjoys hiking, biking and skiing, and recreating New Haven pizzas in her oven at home. |

Dr. Amanda Mercer
After growing up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Dr. Mercer graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.Sc. in Zoology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and stayed in Chicago to complete her residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Illinois Eye Institute. After moving to California, she worked in private practice and was an associate professor at the Southern California College of Optometry until she followed her husband to his hometown and has now settled in the Portland area.
Dr. Mercer is excited to bring her expansive expertise to the Eye to Eye Clinic. She prides herself on her exceptional patient communication and provides full scope eye care with a personal caring touch. Dr. Mercer and her young family greatly enjoy all the Pacific NW has to offer, especially the outdoor recreational activities and the incredible culture and cuisine of Portland! |
Dr. Barbara Briscoe
Dr. Barbara Briscoe, second generation in the optometric field, is originally from Northern Italy. Positive, energetic and spontaneous with a genuine love of people, Dr. Barbara makes her patients feel comfortable and cared for. In addition to providing the highest quality of eyecare to adults, as a mother, Dr. Barbara easily connects with children and specializes in children's eye care.
Dr. Barbara received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Pacific University in 1992 and completed a Residency Program in Montana in 1994. She is multilingual and her Spanish, German, and Italian-speaking patients enjoy receiving care in their native languages. |
